Lucy was brought to the shelter by a woman who could not keep her. I had just lost my dog and best friend Sara and I had another dog at home named Cookie. One of our kind volunteers, Sandra took her home for a few days so I could think.
She brought her by the shelter for the next few days to see me and I could not resist. I took her home to FOSTER her until she was spayed... Lucy and my dog Cookie got along right away. The real test was how she would get along with my grandson who spends lots of time with me.
Well, he came to visit and Lucy could not get enough of him. She loves everyone and is such a little clown. Needless to say we adopted Lucy and she has been with us now for a year and is one of the family....
